National Building Museum - 2009
Work done at Matter Architecture Practice
Role: Model Making, Fabricaton, Install
Matter developed this project from the exhibition’s early conceptual stages, helping expand the texture and dimension of the inherently text-heavy subject—green strategies at the community scale—into a visually engaging environment. We considered a broad definition of community—ranging in scale from digital communication networks to living cells. Further inspiration was drawn from ice core drillings, research that continues to illuminate more about our climatic history than was ever previously known.

Mobile Retail Store - 2015
Work done at Guild
Role: Conceptual Design, Visualization, Design Development, Shop Drawings
The interior of an Airstream was converted into a mobile retail store that travels to campuses across the country selling college curated clothing, accessories and shoes chosen by Neely Burch.
To make the environment more welcoming a 16’ wide by 8’ tall door was cut into the side of the airstream and hinged down to make a platform completely tranforming the space. The ottomons are multi-functional, both creating a central seating area while also covering the wheel hub.
A system of modular display units was designed to meet all the different needs of the client from displaying product to storage while on the road. The units can be stacked and arranged in a number of ways allowing for a lot of flexibility.
Retail Kiosk - 2015
Work done with Outland Projects
Role: Conceptual Design, Design Development, Renderings
This is a retail kiosk designed and developed in collaboration with Outland Projects at The Shops at North Bridge in Chicago.
The concept of a library was inspired by Etienne Aigner’s early career as a bookbinder before creating custom made high end leather goods. Details were extracted from the modular bookshelves in the New York Public Libary located in Byrant Park and incorporated into the display system that creates the enclosure of the kiosk.
“The shop remains true to the heritage and old-world spirit of Etienne Aigner’s Hungarian-born founder with beautiful wood floors in marble accents and brass accents throughout. Meanwhile, its glass façade, natural wood displays, and anchoring spherical chandelier give the space a modern feel.”
